This new tool from Inline will fully protect your images from being referenced by sites outside your domain. If they try, they get an image saying the image is protected instead.
So why would you want to do this? People could reference your images and that will use up YOUR bandwidth not theirs and therefore cost you money.
This will protect other file types as well including PDF, ZIP, AI, MPEG, MOV, AVI, WAV, MP3, TAR, TGZ and others.
